Münih Gezisi, BMW ve Sonbahar

İnsanların hayallerini gerçekleştirmesi ve ertelememesine inanıyorum… Ben de öyle yaptım ve Kasım ayında Türkiye’de tanıştığım Alman arkadaşlarımın daveti üzerine Münih’i keşfetmeye çıktım…

I believe in the idea that people should make their dreams come true and shouldn’t put them off. I did it that way and went to discover Munich after my German friends, with whom I met in November in Turkey, invited me.

Burada en büyük 2 hayalimi gerçekleştirecektim… BMW Müzesini görmek… Ve Doğu Almanya’ya geçip Leipzig’de favori grubum ColdPlay’i izlemek…

Here, I was going to make my two big dreams come true. One was to see BMW Museum and the other was to watch my favourite music group Coldplay in Leipzig after going to East  Germany.

Münih güneydeki burnu biraz daha büyük ve gururla Bavyera eyaletinin baş şehri…Gerçekten çok yeşil ve tertemiz… Özellikle fanatiği olduğum bisiklet konusu burada Amsterdam’dan sonra karşıma inanılmaz bir biçimde çıktı…Her yer bisiklet; herkes bisiklet kullanıyor çünkü şehir dümdüz… Tepe denilen bir şey yok…Bisikletler sokakta kilitsiz duruyor…Kimse bisiklet çalmıyor; çünkü bisikletler çok yeni değil… Almanya’da çok yeni araba görmedim. Ama 5 senelik arabalar sıfır gibi tertemizdi. Çünkü denizin olmaması korozyonu azaltıyor. Ayrıca arabalarına gözü gibi bakıyor herkes. Düzgün sürüldüğünden kazada yapılmıyor tabii ki…

Munich is the capital city of arrogant and proud Bavaria. It is really green and very clean. After Amsterdam, bicycle matter in which I especially interested came my way in an unbelievable way. Bicycles were everywhere, everyone used bicycle because the city was quite straight. There was not such a thing like a hill or a hump. Bicycles stood in the street as unlocked. No one would steal them because they weren’t very new. I didn’t see many new cars in Germany. But 5 year bicycles were very clean as if they were brand new. Since the sea doesn’t exist, it decreases the corrosion. Besides, everyone dotes on their cars. There is no accident of course because they drive carefully.

Fotoğraflarda göreceğiniz üzerinde DIE BAHN yazan bisikletler her yerde duruyor. Bu sisteme kredi kartınız ile ayda 5 euro verip abone oluyorsunuz. Daha sonra yolda bir “Die Bahn bisikletinin” yanına gidiyorsunuz. Ve üzerindeki numarayı cebinizden arıyorsunuz… Call Center görevlisi kimlik doğrulamasından sonra ne kadar süre bisikleti kullanacağınızı soruyor. Onun karşılığı ücreti ödüyorsunuz: 2 saati 1 euro olabilir. OK’ledikten sonra TAK diye bir ses ve bisikletin arka tekerlerinde bulunan sim kart vasıtasıyla çalışan kilit açılıyor ve gezmeye başlıyorsunuz. Süre bitmesine yakın alarm çalmaya başlıyor. Alarm sıklaşınca bisikleti bırakıyorsunuz. Kendi kendine kitleniyor…

As you see in the photographs, bicycles on which DIE BAHN was written were everywhere. You could subscribe to this system by paying 5 EUR monthly via your credit card. Later, you would go to a DIE BAHN bicycle on the way and call the number on it. After identity authentication, call center officers would ask you how long you would use the bicycle. Then you would pay the cost, it would probably be 1 EUR per 2 hours. After the confirmation, you would hear a sound “TOCK” and see that the lock which would work by means of a sim card on back wheels getting unlocked. You could begin to bike. Near the end of given time, alarm would start to ring. As the alarm becomes frequent, you leave the bicycle. It is automatically locked.

Ülkemizde; sanırım bunun gibi uygulamalarda bisikletlerin çalınmayacağı ve bu şekilde kullanılacağı kesinleşince Avrupa Birliğine girmiş olacağız.

I think that we will join the European Union when it becomes definite that bicycles won’t be stolen and will be used that way in such practices.

Bu kısa süreli şoklardan sonra kendimi tabii ki de outdoor mağazalarına verdim ve Türkiye’de 2 katına aldığım ürünlere bakıp göz yaşlarıma engel olmaya çalıştım…Sonra U Bahn denilen metro sistemine binip BMW müzesinin yolunu tuttum. Nasıl heyecan anlatamam. sonra bir anda demir bir tabelanın önünde diz çökmüş bir şekilde kendimi buldum. Yıkılmıştım. BMW Müzesi 2007 yılına kadar renovasyon amacıyla 2003’te kapatılmıştı… Şoktaydım. Ama Müzenin çok ünlü olduğunun farkında olan BMW yöneticileri yaklaşık %40’ını bir başka yerde portatif ve geçici bir müze açarak sergilemekteydiler. Bir nebze içim rahatladı ve Münih Olimpiyat parkının içindeki müzeye doğru yola koyuldum… Münih olimpiyat parkı gezdiğim ülkelerde gördüğüm en muhteşem park.  Bu kadar yeşil, sessiz ve upuzun ve tertemiz bisiklet ve yürüyüş parkurları olan bir yer olamaz…Heryerde ördekler , kazlar.. Şehrin içinde vaha… Burası bildiğiniz üzere 1972 yaz olimpiyatlarına ev sahipliği yapmış ve İsrail kafilesine Filistinlilerin saldırması ile ses getirmişti.

After these short term shocks, I devoted myself in outdoor shops of course and tried to blink back my tears when I looked at the things that I bought for a double price in Turkey. Then I got on the tube called U Bahn and took the road of BMW Museum. I can’t explain how excited it was, I suddenly found myself on bended knees in front of a sign. I broke down. BMW Museum was closed for the purpose of renovation in 2003 until 2007. I was shocked. But the BMW managers being aware of the reputation of the Museum were exhibiting 40% of it in a portable and temporary museum. I was relaxed to some extent and started off towards the museum in Olimpiapark. It is the most magnificent park I have ever seen in the countries I travelled. There is nowhere that has bicycle and walking roads so green, silent and lengthy and spotless. There are ducks and geese everywhere. An oasis in the city. As you know, this city hosted summer Olympics in 1972 and resounds with the attack of the Palestinians to the Israel group.

Müzeye girdikten sonra hayalimde olan birçok arabaya görevlilerin ikazına rağmen dokundum. Katalogların hepsini topladım, 150 tane foto çektim…Çok önemli idi benim için.. Garip gelebilir ama önemli idi. Çünkü yakın arkadaşlarım benim nedenli bir BMW fanatiği olduğumu bilirler… (her ne kadar 86 model bir Renault sürsem de)

After having entered to the museum, I touched most of the cars in my dreams despite of warnings. I collected all catalogues, took 150 photographs and this was very important to me. It may seem weird but it was important. But my close friends know that I am a motivated BMW devotee (though I drive a 86 model Renault).

Münih’te en çok etkilendiğim diğer bir yer gezmesi tam 5 saatimi alan ve 14 bölümden oluşan dünyanın en büyük müzelerinden DEUTCHE MUSEUM’du… Tam bir sanayi ve gelişim tarihi müzesinde alman savaş uçaklarında, U-Boat’lara arabalardan , bisikletlere, madenlerin , pırlantaların gelişimi ve örneklerinde, korsan gemilerine kadar her şey vardı. Sadece bu müzede 400 fotoğraf çektim…Münih’e giderseniz kaçırmamanız gerekiyor… Beer-Garten; yani bira bahçeleri, Almanların şehrin merkezlerinde sosis, patates yiyip bira içtikleri ve sosyalleştikleri mekanlar…Bavyera bu bahçeleri ile ünlü. Çok keyifli bir ortam, hele bir de hava güzelse…

Another tour that I was really affected in Munich lasting for 5 hours was to Deutche Museum which composes of 14 parts and is one of the biggest museums of the world. As a museum of industry and development history, there was everything from  German war planes to U-Boats, from cars to bicycles, from developments and examples of mines and brillants to pirate ships in it. I took 400 photos only in this museum. If you go to Munich, you should not escape it. Beer-Garten, in other words beer gardens, is the places where the Germans eat sausage and potato, drink beer and become socialized. Bavyera is famous for these gardens. Really an enjoyable atmosphere especially when it is sunny.

Münih dışında ise 2. Ludwig’in 14 yılda tamamlanan kale gibi sarayını gezdim. Bu saray NeuSchwanstein isimli, Münih’ten 100 km uzaktaki İsviçre sınırında. Göl manzaralı kartpostal tadında fotolar buraya ait…

Outside  Munich, I visited Ludwig the Second’s castellated palace which was completed in 14 years. This palace was named as Neuschwanstein Castle and in the boundary of Switzerland which is 100 kilometres away from Munich. Photos that have lake view and are postcard like belong to this castle.

Ünlü müzik dehası WAGNER burada konser versin diye sadece konser salonuna 3 yıl emek harcanmış… Özel akustik sistemi var. Ludwig sarayda sadece 1 yıldan az bir süre kalmış sonra esrarengiz bir biçimde 45 cm’lik gölde boğularak ölmüş; boyu 195cm olmasına rağmen…

So that famous music genius WAGNER would give a concert here, they worked for 3 years just for this concert hall. It has a special acoustic system. Ludwig stayed in the palace for less than a year and then he mysteriously drowned in a lake which has 45 cm depth, though he was 1,95 cm.

The interesting relationship between Wagner and Ludwig II was another annotation that I learned here.

Aslan diğer bir önemli not; her yerde aslan figürleri var; bunlar bazen bank olarak karşınıza çıkıyor. Hepsi temalı ve bir şeyleri sembolize ediyorlar. Münih’te yaklaşık 100den fazla aslan heykeli vardı.

Another important note: There are lion figures everywhere. These sometimes come your way as benches. All of them have themes and symbolize something. There were more than 100 lion figures in Munich.

Diğer gezdiğim yerler: 3 kilise (Katolik,Ortodoks ve Protestan); eski ve yeni sanat müzeleri ki ; Bosh, Picasso, Dali,
Andy Warhol gibi sanatkarların tablolarını ve eserlerini görme imkanı buldum.. Üniversite caddesinde kalmamdan dolayı çok keyifli cafe ve barları gezdim. Metro ve trenlerle yolculuk yaptım…Banklara oturup saatlerce etrafı izleyip müzik dinledim… Genel olarak Almanya bana özellikle outdoor ürünleri, açık büfe sushi, bira ve kitaplar açısından son derece ucuz; müze fiyatları, ulaşım, yemek açısından daha pahalı geldi.

Other places that I visited: three churches (Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant), old and new art museums in which I found the chance to see paintings and works of artists such as Bosh, Picasso, Dali and Andy Warhol. Because I was staying in the university street, I visited very cosy cafes and bars. I travelled with metro and trains. I sat on the banks and listened to music for hours by watching surroundings. On the whole, Germany seems as very cheap in terms of outdoor products, open buffet sushi, beer and books and as more expensive in terms of museum prices, transportation and food.

Hayallerimden birkaçını kurduğum uluslararası arkadaşlık sayesinde gerçekleştirdim… Gelibolu’nda karavanlarının yanına gidip; gelin sohbet edelim demeseydim sanırım bunlar olmayabilirdi…

I made some of my dreams come true with the help of international friendship that I made. If I didn’t tell them to come and have a talk by going to their caravan, these probably would not even happen.

Şans… Hayaller .. Biraz da istek… Nerelerde harcadığımızı düşünürsek hayatı, paralarımızı, zamanımızı… Gerçekten bunları gerçekleştirip ve paylaştığınızda keyfi ortaya çıkıyor…

Chance… Dreams… A little desire… Think where we spend our lives, our money and our time… When you make them real and share them, then you begin to enjoy them.
